Another full week here at cleveLAND4art! Wednesday July 23 from 1-3 pm we'll have a media workshop with the Progressive Arts Alliance at Herman Park. If you haven't seen the awesome digital photos we took, check here. That night, we'll be at Zone Rec from 5:30-7:30 pm with the matchless Nicole McGee ofUpcycle Parts Shop. Lake Pool, Thursday from 1-2 pm, we'll be joined by cartoonist and musician Jim Gill, an expert at getting kids to tap into their imagination. Fairview Park this week we'll see familiar faces: Wendy Mahon on Thursday from 7-9 pm, and the Progressive Arts Alliance once more on Saturday from 1-3 pm.
Sunday, of course, we will rest. But not really. We'll be so inspired by all of the fantastic arts-based programming we've taken part in this week that we will break out the finger paints, paste, glitter, macaroni noodles, Silly String, recycled pop bottles and Gorilla Glue and proceed to make a horrific mess, covering ourselves, our clothes, our little sisters and possibly the neighbor's cat in all manner of sparkles and goo, before collapsing, tired an happy, in heap. Then we will awaken Monday, and do it all again.
