Are you ready for not one, but TWO great events this week? Both Herman and Fairview Park are celebrating their first day of summer 2015 programing, and YOU'RE INVITED! This Wednesday, June 10, come on over to Herman Park from 1:00-2:00 PM for a special Art-in-the-Park craft provided by the Center for Art Inspired Learning. We're not expecting rain, but we'll have a blast and stay dry underneath the picnic shelter even if it starts to drizzle! On Thursday, June 11, bring the whole family to Fairview Park for the ice cream social summer kickoff. This week, Upcycle Parts Shop will lead us in creating more vinyl flowers to decorate the already-fabulous fence along Kentucky Gardens. We can't wait to see you there! One last thing to keep on your radar: next week Art House is bringing tie-dye to Fairview Park! They will be providing shirts, but feel free to get creative and bust out your old white (or not-so-white-anymore) clothing to spruce up hippie-style.
