We made our collective directorial debut at Fairview Park this Thursday, with a little help from our friends at MOCA, the Cleveland Museum of Contemporary Art. Here, Nicole is is helping young cinephiles construct sets to be used as the background (and foreground, and middle ground, as we learned . . .) for short stop-motion animation films. Then, we got down and photographed in a high-tech booth that made playing filmmaker perfectly portable - even in the park! Missed all the action and excitement? Don't worry, we'll TAKE TWO this week! Join us for more stop motion goodness at Herman Park this Wednesday from 1-3 pm where we'll be mixing it up with some help from the folks at the Progressive Arts Alliance. They'll be back at Fairview this Saturday from 1-3 pm. Plus, we'll catch MOCA again later in August, when they'll bring the project back to accompany our Arts in August series on August 1st and August 7 . . . . so I guess that's really TAKE TWO, TAKE THREE, TAKE FOUR AND TAKE FIVE . . . at least we're getting plenty of practice! Find out where to join us by checking our calendar!
